Cortex Cloud SaaS Security launches, with Cortex AgentiX handling response

Palo Alto (Oct 28) introduced SaaS Security in Cortex Cloud. It gives visibility into about 100 SaaS applications, continuously checks SaaS posture for misconfigurations, risky integrations, and compliance gaps, discovers AI agents (including dormant ones) and their permissions, and adds AI-powered data classification and data access governance. Cortex AgentiX runs agentic investigation and remediation workflows across SaaS and cloud. The post cites the 2026 Unit 42 Global Incident Response Report: 87% of attacks unfolded across multiple attack surfaces.
